 Roll on Florence

Im really looking forward to a week in Florence later on this year.  I went there a long time ago - probably about 30 years ago - so it's almost like a new city break.

I found a really nice hotel near the middle of town and this time, instead of flying in, Im taking the train, on the recommendation of a lovely person who has done that journey themselves.

A week of art, archaeology, food, drink and culture - what more do you need

so look out for lots of photos of all of the above later in the year.

There is so much in the city if you just want to see artistic creations, which obviously I do.  SO I am really looking forward to a number of visits to the Uffizi for a start.
